Youth Entrepreneurship and ICT Training Program 2020

The project goal: The overall goal of the program is to bring about a transformational change in unleashing the growth potential of micro and small-scale enterprises through the provision of a programmed package of a mix of entrepreneurial and management skills training and coordinated delivery of customized and comprehensive range of business advisory services, to develop a cadre of indigenous entrepreneurs that establish successful growth oriented enterprises.

Project Objective 2: Support the establishment of new MSEs and enhancement of existing ones through the provision of continuous business advisory services with special focus on youth and women enterprises.

Project Objective 3: Provide support to government to identify and address policy, institutional and regulatory impediments to the growth of MSEs, promote partnerships and stakeholder engagements to facilitate the development and access to innovative financial instruments, markets and technologies suitable for MSMEs.

School Tree Planting Program – Greening Dodoma 2020/21

The project goal: Contribute to sustainable environment protection and conservation in Dodoma Municipality.

Project objectives 1: Advocacy through awareness creation on the environmental management act 2004 and the underlying policies

Project Objective 2: To plant 50000 trees around and within Dodoma Municipality by 2020/21.

Project Activities:

  1. Advocacy on environment management act 2004 and policies
  2. Conduct workshops on environmental protection and conservation linking primary and secondary schools in environmental education (EE).
  3. Upgrade the CYDI tree nursery project to a capacity of producing over 10,000 tree seedlings per term
  4. Tree planting and maintenance activities
  5. Conduct trips focused on environment protection and conservation
  6. Evaluation and reporting
